Notre-Dame de Paris. One of my favorite places to visit — inside and on the roof.
I was here several times before 2019, and now I’m back at Notre-Dame de Paris — after the fire and after the long restoration.

Still thinking about — and trying to fully understand — my feelings toward the newly introduced elements:
the contemporary art on the walls,
and the contemporary elements of the altar.

But I’m very grateful to see her standing again.
And happy to be back.

For my next visit, I’ll pre-book roof access — I wasn’t aware of this (new to me) requirement during this spontaneous visit on our roughly 40-hour Paris layover.

It looks like we can’t visit Europe without setting foot in Paris for at least a night or two.
Paris — one love. Unconditional
