I’ll try to express what I’ve felt and learned in the past month but words aren’t going to do it justice. The world we live in is violent. There’s not spikes on every turn you take, but there’s definitely not bubble wrap either. Whether you accept it or not, it’s a dog eat dog world and it’s our job to survive this mess however we see fit.

With that being said, if you’ve been thinking about doing something, stop talking about it and take some action. Take the chance, get hurt, cold, and sad if that’s what it takes. Smile when it’s done and realize that you’ve actually accomplished something even if the end product isn’t what you envisioned it being. Most everything valuable in life does not come easy. Don’t wait around for the perfect time to do it, it’ll never come. Take a week off from work, fuck, take a month off even if you don’t think you’ll survive. I promise you, you’ll come back more alive than ever.
Do it alone, do it with friends, make new ones along the way. People have asked, aren’t you going to get homesick? I truly believe home is found through experiences. So no, I didn’t get homesick, my home just got alittle bigger. Thank you to everyone that made this opportunity possible. Cheers.
