Today is Women Veterans Day 🇺🇸

I am honored to have served in the United States Army from 1976–1978, during the final years of the Women’s Army Corps and its transition into the Regular Army.

Today I remember the women who served before us, beside us, & after us. Their courage, perseverance, & dedication helped open doors for generations to come.

🦅🦅🦅 Looking back at my “Soaring Flight” mural for @hendrickscountyarts as part of “Hues of Hendricks County” in Coatesville, IN.

This project was such a rewarding experience, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to paint in this community. Big thanks to Anne and everyone involved for organizing the project and for all the support along the way🙏
