Bundesliga 2 side @kleeblatt_fuerth_official have confirmed the signing of German-born Ghanaian defender @hendrybl_21 from Austrian Bundesliga outfit @salzburg.rb on a one-year loan deal in today's transfer Deadline window, with an option to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old centre-back, who was billed to join fellow second-tier rivals @eintrachtbraunschweig1895 this summer, is now set to spent the entire 2026-27 season on loan at the Sportpark Ronhof | Thomas Sommer after spending the 2025-26 campaign on loan with @hannover96.

An official confirmation over the loan signing of the former @bvb09 youth star read: "Hendry Blank, a center-back who can also play on the left side, joins Fürth on a one-year loan from Salzburg. The Cloverleaf club has also secured an option to buy the 22-year-old."

The Ghana-prospect defender had this to say right after sealing his season-long loan move to The Shamrocks via the club's official channel: "I’m looking forward to being back in the second division in Germany, which has a very high standard. Of course, things had to move quickly in the end, but I noticed that the people in charge had thoroughly considered me. That gives me a very good feeling."

Sporting director Daniel Meyer added: "After Maxim’s injury and Noah’s departure, we were able to add another high-quality player in Hendry. With him, we get a physically strong and fast player who has already performed at a very high level at his young age.”

Blank remains eligible to switch nationality and play for Ghana at the senior level after featuring for the Germany U20 & U21 national youth teams so far on the international stage.

☘️ Willkommen in Fürth, Hendry.

Bundesliga 2 outfit @eintrachtbraunschweig1895 are expressing interest in securing the loan services of German-born Ghanaian defender @hendrybl_21 from Austrian Bundesliga side @rbsalzburgfc ahead of the Deadline Day window, per a report from the German media Fussballtransfer.

The 22-year-old centre-back, who had a loan spell with @hannover96 last term, could be made to proceed on loan to The Lions by his parent club as he is not in their immediate plans for the 2026-27 season.

The former @bvb09 academy graduate is yet to establish himself as a first-team player at the Red Bull Arena since he joined up with them in 2023.

The Reutlingen-born native remains fit to play for Ghana at the senior level after playing for the Germany U20 & U21 national youth teams so far on the international stage.
