26.2 miles in the Chicago heat for some reason in October, even then my heart is so full. I ran this race for Smile Train, and together we raised $3,000! Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft charity. It trains local doctors to give children born with a cleft lip or palate free surgery and care, so they can eat, speak, breathe and smile. I love fundraising through these races because it doesn’t only raise money for a great cause, it also gets people talking about it. Thank you to everyone who donated, and to everyone who didn’t but read, shared and cheered. You helped spread the word too. This race was for @diya_singh0111 and for my sis @shrutisings . ❤️ thank you @sunithasonuanand for always being there, all my races you have housed and fed us, you are amazing and I really couldn’t do it without you! Thank you @ria.matta , @ashvinash_u , @arnav_uuuuuu and Anya for being out there in person, @simi.krishnan and @themonsoonstory for seeing me off yesterday, @henna_ballaney for the t-shirt and everyone who was with me in spirit @rmachhli @varadarajan.preethi @shelmi_matta @stutikapur1 @anjaliraheja @inspiretodreambig. It was hot, it was hard and it was absolutely amazing. Chicago, you were magic. #ChicagoMarathon #SmileTrain #RunForACause #26point2 @smiletraincommunity
