#podcast #mentalhealthawareness❤️ #mentalillness #mentalhealth #podcasting

What started as an idea between friends became something much bigger than any of us expected. We created the Það er Alltaf Von workout (For 12 Hours: 5 Min Ski-Erg, 5 Min Rest, 5 Min Bike-Erg) to push ourselves physically, but the real purpose was always to start conversations about mental health and raise support for @pietasamtokin Seeing friends, families, healthcare professionals, and even politicians show up reminded me that mental health is something that touches us all. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. What began as a challenge became an event. A reminder that when people come together for a cause bigger than themselves, real change is possible. Thank you to everyone who showed up, took part, donated, or simply helped spread the message 💛 📸 @jon.vidiss

✨ My name is Aníta Ósk Georgsdóttir, a 34-year-old master hairstylist from Iceland 🇮🇸. I am also a proud mother 🧑‍🧒‍🧒, wife ❤️, daughter, sister, and friend 🤍. I live with Bipolar 1 disorder 🧠, and I am passionate about raising awareness of mental health and helping break the stigma that still surrounds it. Mental illness is a part of my story—but it does not define who I am. 🏃‍♀️ Running and regular exercise have become essential parts of my life. Training helps me stay physically strong 💪, mentally balanced 🌱, and connected to myself. It reminds me that even on difficult days, I can keep moving forward—one step at a time. ✨ I believe that people living with bipolar disorder can live meaningful, beautiful, and fulfilling lives. Through sharing my journey, I hope to inspire others to speak openly about mental health, embrace their challenges, and never lose hope. 🌈 My mission is simple: to show the world that a diagnosis does not define a person. We are still capable of dreaming ✨, creating 🎨, loving ❤️, growing 🌱, and living life to the fullest. Hope. Strength. Resilience. One day at a time 🫶🏼☥

Every year, more than 720,000 people die by suicide worldwide — one life lost approximately every 40 seconds. Behind every number is a family, friends, and a community left carrying profound grief. Suicide does not only take individuals — it leaves lasting wounds across entire communities. We need more compassion, open conversation, and real support. There is always hope 🙏🏼💛🌍

Ég bara elska þessar, ótrúlega magnaðar og skemmtilegar stelpukonur💛💛💛 Tölum opinskátt um andleg veikindi og spyrjum fólk sem glýmir við þau hvernig þau hafa það rétt eins og við gerum við fólkið okkar sem glýmir við líkamlega sjúkdóma, ást og friður✌️ #pieta #bipolar @sporthusidrnb
