A wonderful evening attending the launch of @t_artpress ‘Sucking Face’ - celebrating the creation of an anthology of queer and trans kisses. The accompanying exhibition at @outsidersgallerydalston brought some of the works from the publication to life, combining to birth a joyous evening of art, film and spoken word.

Just some of the pieces on display are shown in this carousel (with artists tagged where possible!) but this was a truly inspiring evening shared together with lots of fellow queer and trans creatives. As the sun set in Dalston, there were chats about the works featured, different pieces resonating with all those in attendance. As always, it remains crucial for us to physically document queer and trans stories.

‘t’Art Exhibition: Sucking Face’ runs at The Outsiders Gallery on the 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd August, from 12pm-5pm. Please do pop down and support these artists!

The anthology itself is available from @t_artpress website, see the link in their bio to purchase.

‘From the River, to The Sea’

My multimedia project, ‘All I Have Is My Art’, documents and strings together the stories of marginalised creatives across disciplines, each story bound by a deep commitment to their practice. My project intends to foreground voices and create visibility for the realities and identities absent from mainstream media, seeking to honour the complexities creative individuals. Through these stories, I explore not only what they create, but what their practice signifies to them through a personal cultural and creative lense.

This series of the project focuses on my friend, the amazing writer and journalist @mouna_madanat , as she provides an inside into her Jordanian/ Palestinian Heritage, her relationship to her own creative practice, and creates conversation on the nuances surrounding Arab Women in the Media. ‘From the River, To the Sea’ showcases her work in print, her lineage and her very own personal items she holds very dearly to her heart.

This installation transforms the space into a domestic site of cultural continuity and resistance. The keffiyeh fabrics, books, dates, jewellery, and portraits juxtapose between common themes of belonging and displacement, to honour and act as a tribute to those affected by war and adversity all over the world❤️.

Exhibited April 2nd 2026 @acrylicize & @thearthouselive and a massive thank you to @_come_n_see_ for letting me be a part of something beautiful🌹, and those who came and immersed themselves in my work and those who helped me put this piece together🤲.
