For a long time, I thought I was doing Motherhood wrong. 😔

I loved my son fiercely. But if I’m being honest, I didn’t love Motherhood. At least not the version of it I found myself living. 🫣

I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and quietly wondering why something I had wanted to be so joyous felt so much harder than I expected.

What I’ve come to realize, both through my own experience and through thousands of hours coaching women, is that many Mothers aren’t failing. 🎉

They’re carrying too much.🙌🏻

I recently joined Good Day LA to talk about why so many Mothers feel overwhelmed today, and one of the things I shared is this:

The problem isn’t usually a lack of love.

It’s the invisible labor.

The planning, the remembering, the anticipating, the coordinating, and the emotional load of holding everyone and everything together. 💯

For years, I thought I needed to become a better Mother.

What I actually needed was more support.

That realization eventually became the foundation of Good Girl, Bad Mom. 💋💋💋

If you’ve ever looked around at your beautiful life and still felt overwhelmed by it, please know this:

You’re not broken.

You’re not failing.

You’re simply carrying more than any one person was meant to carry alone. ❤️

Last December, we closed out the year with a Glow Up. A glam moment, a private photoshoot, and time to remind each team member how beautiful she is. We ended the year choosing ✨self-love✨ and setting the tone for the EVOKE #GlowUp year ahead.

2016… wow. What can I say? What a GREAT year.
So many beginnings. So much me me me modeling 😂
( I even added one in the beginning, duh.)
And oh… I also became a U.S. citizen that year 🇺🇸🥹
Kind of a big deal. One of the proudest and most emotional moments of my life.
Looking back now, it hits even deeper! 🥹

But I also started my mommy & me clothing company — not even realizing that 10 years later I’d actually have two real “mini-me’s.” Life is wild like that.

I traveled so much. One of the most unforgettable trips was to Vietnam with my family — absolutely incredible. I met the most beautiful souls along the way.
TK @tk_nguyen you are forever in my heart. I love you. You inspired me to give, to love deeper, and because of you I went on to do my biggest charity project in Kyrgyzstan (so far).
I lived through some truly no-limits scenarios that year 😅
Amazing concerts. Insane adventures.

I also had one of the most precious moments of my life with my grandma — who is no longer with us 🤍
Just a quiet, simple, beautiful moment together.
This picture still makes me smile every time I look at it.😛
I didn’t know back then how sacred that memory would become.

Honestly, I could make three posts just about 2016… but I won’t.
Some moments were too precious to share — they were just for my heart…

There are so many moments, stories, and memories with all of my friends that deserve to be written here…
but space is limited, and honestly — my heart is too full to fit it all into one post 🤍

All of my friends were — and still are — absolutely incredible.
I love you all. I care about you deeply.
And now I want to do it all again — this time with my babies included 🤍

Cheers to 2026!!!
