Have you ever written a letter to your v🌹gina? Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror? And being common does not mean it is normal. Yes. We talked about these things yesterday. 🤍 Because this is exactly why I created Women’s Health Unfiltered. We created a safe space to talk openly about pleasure, pain, intimacy, desire, the nervous system and our relationship with our bodies. But we also talked about something much bigger: What happens when women are dismissed because there simply isn’t enough data? How do we treat pain that cannot be seen? What if, instead of questioning someone’s pain, we believed them? What if we stopped normalising pushing through? What if pleasure wasn’t something we had to perform, but something we could explore? And what if we included men in these conversations, too? Last night, Stefanie Jolak, Christina Hoxer and Sara Andersen helped us unpack these questions from completely different perspectives - from access to care and vulvodynia, to pelvic health, the nervous system, desire, pleasure and the mind-body connection. And then there was Aphrodite’s Unfiltered Garden 🌿🌹 - because pleasure in its many forms deserves a place at the table, too. Thank you to everyone who came and made this evening what it was. Thank you to @onethirtylabs for the beautiful location. Thank you @lustcopenhagen for the goodie bags and the accessories in the Unfiltered Garden 😉. Thank you @rawculturekombucha for the delicious kombucha and thank you @analog.sauna for treating the participants with a healthy treat. This is Women’s Health Unfiltered. A space to question what we’ve been told, understand our bodies a little better, and have the conversations that should have been happening all along. Transparency over taboo. Until the next one. 🤍

“Once you realise it, it can’t be unseen.” Meet Christina Hoxer, Founding Strategic Advisor at HerAccess, joining us for PAIN & PLEASURE, UNFILTERED. 🌹 Christina and HerAccess founder Stefanie Jolak first worked together at Novo Nordisk, and today Christina is helping shape a mission she deeply believes in: changing the way women’s health is researched, understood and accessed. With 13+ years across global pharma and biotech, including leadership roles at Novo Nordisk, BioMarin and Roche, Christina has spent her career working at the intersection of health policy, health economics and access. And she’s seen firsthand how much access to healthcare is shaped not only by medicine, but by systems, structures and incentives. Women live longer than men, but spend more of their lives in poor health — with many of the conditions behind that gap being chronic, under-researched and overlooked. And when the evidence base has been built around a male default, the consequences don’t stop at research. They can affect what gets recognised. What gets funded. What gets treated. And who gets access. “I’ve spent many years optimising access inside an evidence base built on a male default. Once you realise it, it can’t be unseen — and it’s time to change it.” We’re so excited to bring Christina into the conversation around pain, pleasure and women’s health — and to explore what it takes to move from awareness to real change. 🌹 PAIN & PLEASURE, UNFILTERED 📍 Copenhagen 🎟️ Tickets via the link in bio.

This is an invitation to look at women’s pain, desire, intimacy and pleasure differently and to begin seeing yourself not as someone who has to put up with discomfort, but as someone who deserves to feel good in her body. 🎤 With Stefanie Jolak, Christina Hoxer & Sara Andersen, we’ll move from pain to pleasure: exploring what happens when sex hurts, desire changes, intimacy becomes complicated, and pleasure feels out of reach. Expect honest conversations, anonymous Q&A, meaningful connections, nourishing treats and Aphrodite’s Garden: a space to nourish your senses. This is for you if you’ve ever wondered: Is this normal? Why does it hurt? Why don’t I feel desire anymore? Can I actually experience pleasure differently? You don’t need to come with answers. Come curious. Leave seeing yourself — and your body — differently. PAIN & PLEASURE, UNFILTERED. 🎟️ Limited spots · Link in bio #WomensHealthUnfiltered #PainAndPleasure #FemalePleasure #SexualHealth #VulvarPain
