✨ Turning dreams into reality ✨

SHE DID IT! 💃✨

My wonderful client Jen @heralaraoque has taken something she’s dreamed about for a long time and made it REAL.

House of Hera is officially coming to life TOMORROW! A fully accessible burlesque class, created on HER terms, for wonderful people who deserve a space to move, connect, have fun and feel fabulous… I am sooooo proud of you Jen and to have supported you on this journey.

This is what I LOVE about working with performers who are building beyond the stage… It’s never just about creating a business. It’s ALWAYS about creating something that means something.

Congratulations Jen and good luck, I can’t wait to hear your voice-note update this week ✨

▪️I'm posting some of the best snaps from last years showgirl conference as I missed this year's due to circumstances.

✨️It was my first last year & It was an amazing start to the year especially with it being January and to participate in the Cabaret show too which was an incredible end to tbe weekend and only having 3 weeks to rehearse with last minute help from the wonderful @trixieblueburlesque 💙

▪️If I didn't know about or get involved with the @the_successful_showgirl I may have potentially quit burlesque.

✨️It's a positive and beautiful system for the communities and @kitty_campari is an amazing person and does a fantastic job to keep the successful showgirl going for us!

▪️I had rumours made up about me last year which unfortunately can happen and try to damage you and the successful showgirl has picked me up in many ways and made me realise how much I love burlesque and why I did it in the first place.

✨️Never allow anything to stop you pursuing what you want to do even if something or someone tries to tear you, keep going and shine brighter.
Always speak up if there's something made against you or you are being bullied as no industry needs it.

▪️It really is community over competition & should never be about who's better than who. We are all individual & unique & that is to be respected. It isn't a race.
It isn't a race for shows, who gets the most, or who is the best as each show is an experience and shouldn't be taken for granted and valued them everytime whether you perform in it or go and watch it or contribute in any way - enjoy the experience.

✨️Keep expressing your art and love for Burlesque folk as it is what keeps it going and always remember and support each other and be kind. Always goes along way!

Community love and spirit is a beautiful thing!

I hope to see you all at future conferences! Have a gorgeous year!

Love to all. Peace.

Hello everyone!
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of doing nails for one of my regular clients, the talented burlesque performer and singer, Heralaroque.

She came in for an infill and requested to keep the same nail length, but with a twist—a brighter red cat eye polish. The goal was to create a bold, reflective effect that would catch the stage lights beautifully during her performance.

Love how they turned out—elegant, dramatic, and totally stage-ready
