Closing the door on this office feels a lot bigger than just changing spaces. ❤️

I was pregnant twice in this office. I lived through a world shutdown and a global pandemic in these walls. I’ve grown here. I’ve cried here. I’ve celebrated victories here, and I’ve carried losses here too.

This office held so many versions of me. It saw long days, hard seasons, happy moments, stressful moments, and chapters I never could have imagined.

And while it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I’m so grateful for everything this place gave me.

Here’s to honoring where you’ve been, appreciating the journey, and being excited for what’s next.

A new office. A new chapter. ✨

My birthday 🎂 couldn’t have been better. It was so lovely to read all the messages, texts, and calls from friends, family, and the community here. ☺️

We celebrated by having dinner at @luccobar. It was delicious, especially their tiramisu which is my fav!

I have been loving this warm weather so wore my new @spanx pants.

Same outfit, different woman. 😍

Here’s my weight loss before and after for 1 year. I’m down 20lbs of fat, I have more muscle, more energy, feel and look better. It took a lot of hard work that was worth it.

Here’s what I learned:
- It’s all about a calorie deficit, you can’t workout more to carryon the same lifestyle. It all starts with what you consume and all calories are not equal.
- I saw faster results once I tracked my calories by weighing my food to know that I was meeting my protein and calorie goals. Use @cronometer_official like I did.
- At my age, HIIT workouts are not productive. I thought I had to do super hard workouts to see results. Instead it was the Zone 2 cardio walking + strength training that did it. Thanks to @lifetime.florhampark for providing the coaching, classes, and facility for me to meet my goals.
- Other things that are important that I did most of the time: slept 7+ hrs, drank 1/2 my body weight in ounces, incorporating pilates/barre to strengthen my core for weight training.

Hope this is helpful for you or someone else. I felt stuck until I made these changes. Charge is hard but can be done. I’m still on my journey and have a lot more to go, but I am enjoying where I am today!

This year and every year I am thankful for everyone in my life. Crazy to think 8 years ago I took the leap, and a comfortable 6 figure salary, to work on my “side hustle” full time. I cried on the phone when I told my boss I would be leaving a career I worked so hard to build. From customer service at DHL, I moved into inside sales, Field Sales and become a Director of Business development. I loved my time at DHL but knew my “side hustle” needed more attention. I wish I could go back in time and give my former self a hug and tell her we would be okay. This year we will finish the completion of our dream home and I’m still humbled to see how far I have come considering how scared I was at that moment. This is your reminder that the biggest rewards come with the biggest risks. Take the leap. What’s the worst that will happen?
