An amazing moment on Saturday when @rosemarygladstar honored Ed Smith (@herbal_ed ) for his support of United Plant Savers from the very early days and his commitment to sustainability in sourcing and growing medicinal plants 🌱 and co-founder of @herbpharm .

This January, we were struggling due to frozen federal grants and didn’t know how we were going to navigate the path forward. Ed stepped in to help save the day!

We are thrilled to announce the construction of a medicinal plant conservatory 🌱 and dedication of the conservatory in honor of Ed Smith.

Such a special weekend. Thank you @susan_leopold for hosting all of us in Cincinnati for the International Herb Symposium @herbsymposium

The weekend was simply amazing! 💚

My heart is so full. I adore our herbal community and the deep friendships I have.

I’m also humbled by how many teachers, elders and students came to my class. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

with gratitude and love!

“If you really want to truly be an herbalist, you gotta hang out with the plants!” @herbal_ed

This episode is not to be missed! I sat down with Herbal Ed Smith, cofounder of @herbpharm, @americanherbalistsguild, @unitedplantsavers, and @ahpa1982 as well as advisory board member to @herbalgramabc, to learn from his 50+ years of experience as a cornerstone in the revitalization of American herbalism. Ed is not only a wealth of wisdom, he’s a great storyteller!
