Posting this because sometimes I think I’m pretty beautiful, and other times I think, “oh my gosh why did my husband even marry me!?” 🤣 I KNOW I’m not alone when it comes to the comparative issues that can come from an unhealthy self-image. I am here to tell you that GIRLLL, you loook BOMB in that outfit! Your hair is GORGEOUS!! Your smile is CONTAGIOUS! And that sadness AND joy you express are BOTH beautiful!!! 😍 So, here is to rewriting our self-image with what our Creator says of us - that we are beautiful, perfect, & WONDERFULLY made! 👏🙌 TAG A GORGEOUS GIRL BELOW AND LET HER KNOW HOW PHENOMENAL SHE IS!! ✨✨💕

Every family looks different, & for this season, this is ours. The desire within my husband & I to be parents to our own sweet babes is something that has lived in us since before God brought us together. Together, we decided early on that we would serve the young people in our lives with love, full tummies, laughs, tears, high-fives, & constant pointing back to Jesus. It has truly been our joy and I thank God constantly for the life He has called us to. As I have said before, my sweet husband was literally created to be a Father, and I myself feel greatly the call to be a Mother. We honestly have conversation after conversation of how we will parent, love, guide, nurture, & raise up our children to be world changers. We talk about all the fun traditions we will have, the adventures we will go on as a family, the people we will serve together.. & we stand in fully belief that God is working our pain out for our very own good! Through our losses of our precious angel babies, Sophia & Roman, God has helped us to understand a certain pain that exists in this broken world that we would never truly know of if it wasn’t for our own loss. He has helped us to feel a love and care that we have never felt before. He has shown us what it is to fight through the darkest time in our marriage - refining our foundation & strengthening it with every moment we fight for our endurance. We are stronger because of our children! We love harder because of our children. We mourn deeper with others, because of our children. Our story is not over, and I want to encourage you, friend - your story is also not over. Our God can & will redeem your heartache and pain just like He will ours. 💛 Thank you all for every prayer, encouragement, financial sacrifice, & specifically for your gentle care & friendships. Siaki and I could not have survived these past 2 weeks, or even the last 5 years, without the community of loved ones God has given us. I pray that He would help us to be there for every single one of you in your time of need! The Lord has grown His love within my heart during this time, and I vow to love harder because of it.
