POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My debut album Narratives is (somehow) 10 years old today! Feels even older, as I was working on basic versions of some of these tracks way before. Anyway, still very proud of it. Working on a tonne of new material atm, watch this space

🥳 Celebrating the rerelease of ‘Life In The Slow Lane’, this #throwbackthursday from the fantastic @dyhq out now on @hereandnowrec and available on all good streaming platforms!

🤝 Originally released in 2012, it was great to join forces with long time collaborator Dave ‘Double Yellow’ Lilley on this album project, working with a host of amazing artists and musicians in the process, to create this soulful, psychedelic, funky long player.

💿 It’s been great to take a trip down memory lane, and dig into the archives of demos, album recordings, music video shoots and behind the scenes footage over the last few months.

🙌 On it’s original release, the album, singles, and remixes from the likes of @yamwho @ambientjazzens @theallergies @renegadesofjazz @yanndulche - gained support from @gillespeterson @davelee.jn and @dannykrivit and featured compilation appearances on the @purobeachbcn compilation series too!

Mark Fox - great producer & one to watch - remixes Locked “chopped up the vocal, extended it on the drop with a stutter effect to give it a real ravey, euphoric feeling and texture … a pleasure making a remix for this already incredibly piece of music. Thank you!”
