We’re delighted that our Artistic Director Tamsin Fitzgerald is movement director on ‘A Roaring Boy’, a new play by @lostcausetheatre . It tells the story of Robert Gough, an actor who made his name playing women’s roles on the Shakespearean stage, until his deepening voice changed the course of his career. It’s a fascinating story and we’re thrilled to be part of it. You can see it this year live at… 📍@courtyard_arts Hereford on November 4th at 19:45. 📍@stacworcester Worcester on November 5th at 19:45. 📍Folly Arts Theatre, @herefordarts on November 6th at 19:45. Congratulations to everyone at Lost Cause on their debut production! Get your tickets now via the link in our bio.

🎨 | What a stunning project by Dermot Clarke and students from Hereford College of Arts. They’ve collaborated to create some wonderful murals at the Stonebow Unit in Hereford. We have no doubt these murals will lift the spirits of patients and staff. Patients will also get the opportunity to paint a small part of the mural. Thank you! ❤️ #YourHerefordshire

BARRELS 40th BIRTHDAY PARTY SATURDAY 24th OCTOBER 🎈🎉🎂 The Barrels 40th Birthday is less than a week away! After revealing the music lineup last week, we can also confirm we’ll be announcing the winning design for our stained glass in collaboration with the @herefordarts For those wanting to line their stomachs (it’s gonna be a long day, after all), don’t worry, our friends and neighbours Ogelby Butchers will be in the kitchen, whipping up plenty of delicious, succulent pork baps and hot dogs. And finally, what’s a birthday party without cake! 🎂 big thank you to @carascreativecakes, who’s kindly baked us a stunning 40th birthday cake for the day, with Peter Amor himself stopping by at 5 to do the cutting. It’s a massive cake but it can only feed so many, so make sure to get a slice before it’s all gone! Here’s to 40 years at The Barrels. See you this Saturday!!
