Very cozy place, newly renovated I guess. Half way old school and half way wooden style bivouac. A really efficient and cute stove to warm up and cook on, and a evening snowfall to enjoy at 1800m in early December.

Easy 3h walk on a dirt road to reach a cute bivvy with 10 sleeping spots (no mattresses) fireplace and a very efficient and hot stove. There is a water source 4 mins walk away and wood can be collected between 10’ walk. There are axe and saw available at the bivouac. Great full green panorama on the two valleys

Getting wet in the rain the way up, for a steep all the way 1000 vertical m, with some wired traverse on rocks, mostly in a foggy weather. After a storm there’s always a reward. The cold of the night above 2000m with the wake up alarm at 5 to witness this magic sunrise. Every time I come back to sleep at this place sunrise and sunsets never stop to amaze me

Sometimes you know it in advance that it’s neither going to be easy nor comfortable, that staying home under the blanket and watch Netflix while eating junk food would be more pleasurable. But on the long run you’ll find out that face challenges often, solving problems in severe conditions, and trying to stand pain and discomfort, will make you appreciate simple things that we too often give for granted and consequently make you a better and satisfied person. #highcamp #snowcamping #gardalakeitaly #gardalake #montebaldo #wildcamping
