FEATURE FRIDAY - Meet @herflatsix from Oslo, Norway 🇳🇴

Some 996s impress with rarity.
Some with performance.
And some simply win you over because they feel personal from the very first moment.

This 2001 Porsche 996.1 Carrera 4 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Boxster Red leather interior — and that contrast was exactly what caught @herflatsix attention.

Inside, it still carries all the early-2000s charm we love about the 996: original car phone, cassette player, CD player and a cabin that feels like a proper time capsule.

But the real story is the one behind the car.

Originally delivered in Germany in 2001, it later moved to Spain in 2004, where it spent many years as a carefully looked-after Sunday car. When the original owner got older, his son eventually bought it from him.

In 2022, father and son drove the car all the way from Spain to Norway on the father’s 70th birthday — one final long journey together after nearly two decades of ownership.

A kind of last dance with a car that had become part of the family.

Today, the 996 still remains in its original factory specification, has covered more than 197,000 km and comes with a complete service history.

And that is exactly how she wants to keep it.

No unnecessary changes.
No chasing trends.
Just preserving the car, enjoying it properly and adding many more kilometres.

Maybe even all the way to the Alps next summer.

This is what 996 Society is about:
cars, people and the stories that connect them.

Glemte visst det viktigste… bilder av klokkene 🤭🤔

Men fem sportsbiler utenfor fikk jeg i hvert fall tatt bilder av. 😎 Og noen bilder har jeg lånt av Morten 😇

Klokker og bil går jo hånd i hånd, så jeg følte meg ganske hjemme på Oslo Swap Meet på Grønn Oase Kafé i Lillestrøm.

Neste gang skal jeg huske klokkene også. 😂⌚️🏎️
