HER League was proud to be part of today’s Back to School event hosted by Alderwoman @the12thward ! It was a great day connecting with families, supporting our community, and helping kids get ready for another school year. A special thank you to @chicagocitysc and @lajulietasalon for sponsoring school supplies and snacks for the kids, and to @cbslsoccer for supporting our setup and helping us be present at the event. HER League is bigger than soccer. It’s about creating opportunities, building community, and continuing to show up for the next generation of girls and families across Chicago. Thank you to Alderwoman Julia Ramirez and everyone who helped make the day possible! A heartfelt shoutout to @evelin_3023 and @its_pamelaaa for their unwavering dedication in volunteering their time, and to @rogelio.diaz3768 for always making sure we’re geared up and ready to go your support keeps HER League moving forward. #HERLeague #Chicago #BackToSchool #GirlsSoccer #CommunityFirst ChicagoYouth ChicagosBestSoccerLeague

@chicagocitysc U13 DPL 🤝 @uwguerrerasfc from Urban Warriors. Our Chicago City U13 DPL team is made up of players selected through the @herleaguechicago program, creating a direct pathway for girls from our communities to compete at the next level. Chicago City SC, HER League, and Urban Warriors continue doing important work to remove barriers, create opportunities, and give our girls the space to play, compete, and belong. A special thank-you to Coach Emilyn for helping set this up and for the incredible hospitality.

The World Cup has been an example of how football can bring people together and unite a community, and Pilsen was no exception for the final. Watch party and street football; a free space to come together to play and enjoy the beautiful game. • Shoutout to @club18fc - got their boots on the ground, creating and holding spaces to make the game more accessible for everyone. Alderman @bsigcho for the collaboration on the event and making it happen for the people of Pilsen, for @brandon4chicago for showing up, and to anyone else involved that I’m missing.

Club18FC × HER League This collab is bigger than one run. It comes from months of showing up, reaching families, opening fields and creating real places for girls across the city to play. Club18FC and HER League have been doing that work in our own spaces. Now we’re bringing those communities together. Built by people from the city, for the girls growing up in it. The work is already happening. Come be part of it.
