🧖‍♀️A beautiful balance of natural elements & modern #blackandwhite design. This bathroom is giving us zen vibes and we’re loving every peaceful minute of it! 🖤

Repost from @herlockerinteriors “Where once there was none....
This project has been bigger than big for so many reasons. We turned an unusable attic of of early 1900's prohibition home into a masterpiece!”

Independence Day means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. This year, we’re celebrating the independence that our country affords entrepreneurs. Freedom is a big goal of many of the women we talk with on the daily and one of our favorite things to see is women exercising their financial freedom to get a space of their own. We also LOVE when women team together to make their dreams come true. We’ve been sitting on this news for awhile, but we are SO excited that we can officially announce that our newest neighbors are founding 🐝 Ellen of @elledesignco and new 🐝Natalie of @herlockerinteriors !! When The Hive opened doors in the historic Orpheum building in 2018, we were just renting, then we made a big financial freedom move of our own when we bought our space in 2020. It kinda “came with” the entire first floor. We always planned to turn the suite next to The Hive into private offices, but we never really knew what we’d do with the other suite right next to the theater. We did know, however, that when we sold it, it had to be to someone who would really elevate and utilize it! We’re excited that Ellen and Natalie plan to have both of their interior design businesses here together as well as host VIP parties occasionally to line up with Orpheum show nights. We can’t wait to see how they beautify this space and really make it their own. Congratulations, ladies, and welcome to our favorite building in Wichita!!

We are finished with all construction on the cabin. Our builder Greg Drechsler did an amazing job of turning our vision into reality. Our next stop is to bring in the furnishings. It’s taken a small village to help us accomplish this bucket list dream of ours and were so grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way. #blackhouse #chautauquahillsblackhouse #sedanks
