Treasure Found ✨️

My first contract with Disney aboard the Disney Treasure has been absolutely incredible! What a blessing it has been to make music and magic with such amazing and talented people in such a beautiful place.

To ALL of my lovely friends, from the stage to my Scat Cat family, thank you so much for singing with me, laughing (and living and loving 😋) with me, and making this journey so special and unforgettable. Te quiero mucho, mi Tesoro 🫶

Now off to the next... Adventure! (iykyk 🤭)

What an incredible experience in Lisboa (Lisbon), Portugal. I feel in love with the culture, architecture, food, people, learned a but about the history, and also understand why it’s become one of the top countries African-Americans move to from the US. From performing 2 sold out shows with @nisaslounge to performing at Lisbons Juneteenth celebration with @blackinlisboa to connecting with old friends, meeting new friends, traveling to a castle in Sintra, I was deeply inspired by the whole experience. I look forward ti returning seeing more, learning more, and sharing more with this amazing community. Feeling grateful to @ayobrame @abayomibrame @scb_brame for having me along wit this incredible trip.

The ears have been earned! 🌟🐭

It's been such an amazing experience getting to rehearse in Toronto for the past few weeks. I'm SO grateful to be part of this beautiful, talented, and incredible cast and family, and I'm so excited for what's next. Disney Treasure, here we come!

I had the chance to catch up with some old friends yesterday, Hernan and Anthony who were in Hong Kong back when I was there and Nathan who I hadn't seen since college more than 20 maybe 25 years ago. Also jammed on a Jazz tune with Hernan and some talented young musicians. I'm definitely rusty and felt quite sluggish with my phrasing and melodic choices hehe, but the vibes were great and it was nice to make some noise again with Hernan.
