Freedom, Confidence, Possibility This January, young women from communities around Garima Grih and our Pink Centers took their first ride toward independence through our bike-riding mobility program, in collaboration with Motolyfe and Her Sawari building confidence, skills, and freedom with every turn. Beyond mobility, our initiatives continued to nurture communities through nutrition, health awareness, creative workshops, and youth engagement, bringing dignity and opportunity to those who need it most. When we first started in 2018 dreaming about a women’s motorcycling community, there were many doubts, questions, and endless challenges. 🌄 300 KMS | 30+ Women | 48°C | Infinite Grit ….. 🏍️🔥 At 4 AM, before the world even stirred, we kicked off not just a ride — but a epic day ride. For many, it was the first-ever long-distance (300 Kms ) ride, and yet, together, we moved like a one big Moto Family … As dawn broke, our engines roared with courage, our hearts beat with determination, and our spirits were lifted by the power of sisterhood. By 7:30 AM, we rolled into the majestic Dadhikar Fort — where laughter, high-fives, and a well-deserved breakfast celebrated our first milestone. But the real test awaited us…. As we began our return to Gurgaon at 9 AM, the sun turned relentless — 48°C 🔥of pure fire. But we didn’t flinch. Because when the going gets tough, women riders get tougher ….😊 Through heatwaves and exhaustion, what carried us forward wasn’t just fuel — it was faith in ourselves and each other. Everyone Battled mental fatigue, the blazing sun, and long stretches of open road — and came out the other side with stories of resilience, courage, and unshakable camaraderie. Each kilometre wasn’t just distance — it was a declaration: That we can, that we did, and that we will again. We came back stronger. Tired, yes — but triumphant. Because this wasn’t just a ride. At PVR NEST, we're always looking for new and meaningful ways to capacitate grassroots women from over 35 urban slum communities around our Safe Centers. This time, it's motorbike riding lessons! The first batch of trainees included 10 women & girls from our staff and neighbouring communities. For many of these women, it's their first time on two wheels. They're learning to balance, build confidence, understand traffic rules – and most importantly, discover a new sense of freedom and independence.
