This little cutie has been with me for just over a month now. Her name is Sweet Dee and she looks like a shepherd, but she’s small (just under 30 pounds). She is pretty fearful and was very shut down for the first few weeks I had her.

I’m so happy to see her wagging her tail, interacting with the other pups and coming out of her shell more and more!! 🤗💚

My foster dog Warren had the most magical walk last night at the Chattanooga Sculpture Fields with fellow @heschatt foster dogs 🌅 Pretty sure this beats the view from a kennel any day. Plus look at those leash skills at work!

Welcome, Warren! This 4 year old medium sized pit/terrier mix has already made himself at home, and we’ve had a wonderful day of rest and decompression. It’s incredible what taking a dog out of the shelter can do for their personality. It seriously blows my mind every time… Cheers to foster life, Warren! 🐾

THE DEETS:

Tomorrow, Saturday October 3rd, is our 5 Year Anniversary Party!

WHATS GOING ON?
Our whole block of Hanover Street businesses will be hosting little celebrations and activities (check out their pages for more details),and our celebration kicks off at 2pm.
Our little chunk of Hanover Street will be closed down to make space for @heschatt volunteers and some adoptable pets (!!!) as well as local artists, @chattanoogatreeproject vintage clothing vendors, and plenty of seating for folks to sit and enjoy the block party.

FOOD?
Food service will start at 2pm, and while the indoor portion of our celebration will be 21+, food and soft drink service will be available via the garden gate to anyone on the street :)
Bryan will be slinging tacos, smash burgers, elote, and more!

MUSIC?

Music kicks off around 5pm, we’ll have performances from @djredhawkk, @huskyburnette, @cultbaby.forever, and @lillianisaband

If you’ve see these artists perform, you know this isn’t one to miss. If you HAVE NOT seen them perform, you will most certainly want to experience it! For our regulars out there, Cult Baby is Joan’s band and she is an absolute joy to see perform.

COVER?
Yes, there is a cover! Entry for the music is 10 bucks (suggested). 5 of this goes to the band and 5 goes to @heschatt
In return, you will receive a raffle ticket. This gets you in the running for some seriously badass items and experiences. We’ve received donations from so many local business and artists, like @christinarenfervogel, @huntermuseum, @lodgecastiron, and @seerockcity (just to name a few!) seriously there are so many amazing items in this raffle.
If you want more chances to win badass stuff, each additional raffle ticket is $5 and goes directly to HES.
Big thank you to @badbeardevents & @tuckerbuild who will be matching our donations from the raffle! THANK YOU!

Our donations to HES will also from some of our cocktail sales featuring Tito’s Vodka and Tito’s will match that donation up to 1500, so get down here and drink some Frankie Goes to Hollywoods!
