I've talked about AAMUN so much that I'm sure a lot of you are bored already.
But I mean why not?
There's a gazillion things to remember but I'll discuss a couple today.

20th January, 2020.
I met a few of the people I had learned to debate from, all ready to present the idea of AAMUN. Probably one of the worst days I've had. I was ridiculed, laughed at, or probably it was at the idea. But it was personal to me. I remember being told how immature I was to believe in such a weak idea.
Holding back my tears, I stood up and walked away. Shut myself out, didn't contact anybody for a week or so.

Fast forward to last edition, a couple of them wanted to chair at AAMUN. That's how small the circle of life is.

6th November, 2020.
We had AAMUN's first physical meeting. AAMUN was just over a month away, it was unreal, we were highly hopeful, and surprisingly I met a senior MUNner.
True to my silliness, I sat and explained AAMUN to them. I remember feeling elevated, only to hear him say, "Ab gali ke school ke bachay bhi MUN karenge. Itna asaan nahi hota MUN karwana, ke koi bhi uth kar karwade."

I was shaken, I don't know why but it pushed me to the verge of not believing. Again, it took me days to recover from that. But we pulled off AAMUN timely, made it the lowest fee MUN across the globe. The first physical MUN that happened in Pakistan after COVID.

Fast forward to last March, he responded on an AAMUN related story, "Incredible work mate."

I never needed them to respond, to acknowledge me, yet they did. Because AAMUN was and is bigger than all of us. You can be grander than me, but not than the idea of inclusion.
I believe in that religiously.

This is my last AAMUN as it's lead. And proudly so, I will pass on the legacy InSha'Allah.
And along that some of the moments that changed how I looked at things.

Thank you @syedsami36 for the post.
Thank you @hex_zain for making me look so cool.
Thank you @jafferydahmer77 for the photo.

Never knew I could look like the Badshah Sami thinks I am.
