Damnit Janet, I love you 🥹

Having all the bittersweet emotions that comes with completing my run as Janet last night. I will miss the sheer amount of joy I feel when playing this role. On the other hand, I look at these videos and I am wowed by the growth and forever grateful for the opportunity to grow in ways I never imagined I could as a performer. I’m excited to see where this growth will take me.

I love this show
I love this cast
I love you, Janet 💕

Special thanks to @marccosaantonio who I’ve learned to trust to no end and to @theydy.bedbug who took this video and has been my biggest support system through this rollercoaster.

Some artists just have •it• . And baby. Tim Curry radiated -it- palpably thru every screen he graced (so did Dolly) . U are an unbelievable inspiration. Like many queer freaks- Tim curry as Frank absolutely radicalized me. Tim . U are the kind of clown I want to be. Getting to embody Frank at @houseofyesnyc feels so magnetic. To get to bring my own spirit into Tim Curry’s extraordinary performance - inside an active little universe of nightlife freakery- is nothing less than a supreme honor. The world of Rocky is made so rich by the extraordinary performers in this particular show. As they are the living, breathing essence of all that happens over at the Frankenstein place. They are less acting and more living. I know there are a million rocky horror’s you can see this season. Please make ours one of them . You won’t regret it.
Thanks @suarfotos for these fab pix from last year. Can’t wait to do it again, with even more spirit.

Is a gallery of queer and trans works and ephemera from a few of the most prolific nightlife artists in the city, curated within the landscape of my forthcoming play, @god.spunk . PLEASE consider donating to our fundraising campaign (linked where u think) 💰
🎀IDGASWYDIETDM🎀 is a love letter to transexual opulence, queer ecstasy, and the institutionally considered “low brow” forms of nightlife performance that are so often the source material for those artists and institutions within the “high brow” performance/art lexicon.
We’ve had some amazing shows in this space- like the stuff you see in this reel from the opening party (thank u @lollygaglab 🐣. And thank you @suarfotos for photos ! We also had a very special @f4gnetshow pop up show- which is what the grid image is from ( thank u @afiveonemale ♥️ ). More of that to come.
THANK YOU TO EVERY ARTIST WHO AGREED TO DO THIS WITH US (they’re tagged). THANK YOU BK ART HAUS. THANK U @somad.nyc . THANK U THOSE WHO BOUGHT GARMENTS, ARTWORKS, TATTOOS, AND ZINES. We will have some stuff for sale on Sunday . You can donate that way too. 🎀
Until next time 🎀🎀
