already one month since OIAF :”) <3 feels like just yesterday and also forever ago that i was running on redbulls and bagels to get through dozens of events a day—introducing screenings, taking pics while moderating q&as, running back and forth between the NAC, the ByTowne, the office, making guerilla merch for filmmakers, getting my pass signed by brad bird out of sheer luck and kindness, finally meeting the adorable kids jury, seeing the program book i helped put together in everyone’s hands—but this team makes it all worth it. we’re just under 20 people on staff supported by a handful of projectionists, interns, photographers, drivers, and volunteers to make this 5-day festival happen. i’m so so so proud and grateful for the trust and opportunities i’ve been given. i’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
