I chose to honor the genius and timeless spirits of composers like Alexander Scriabin, W.A.Mozart, John Coltrane, Bob Marley, Joe Zawinal, Wayne Shorter, Billy Strayhorn, Jaco Pastorius, Vince Mendoza, Miroslav Vitous, and many many others with this improvised fretless bass piece. I am also excited to finally be releasing my first short Prelude for the electric bass next Wednesday. The piece I will be releasing next week is not only an offering to the universe, but it is also a reflection of my appreciation for the many blessings that the gift of musical composition has brought to my life. And most importantly, it is dedicated to my nephew’s joy!!! #joyofsong #composition #spring #spirituality #gratidão #gratitude #joy #loveforfamily #musica #musicislife #musicalexpression #secondhandserenade
