About a year ago, we took a chance and decided to start a weekly country swing class. @therosehonkytonk took a chance on us too—betting on an idea that, at the time, nobody was quite sure would succeed. What we did know was that we were seeing the Charlotte dance community grow, and we wanted to help unify it by creating a safe space where everyone could learn, connect, and have fun.

Fast forward 12 months (and countless weeks of hard work… plus Liz annoying Alberto on stage every single week 😄), and we honestly can’t believe what we’re looking back at.

Thousands of people have taken our classes. We’ve tripled our community and grown in ways we never imagined. We hosted our first big event, and what started as one night a week has grown into three nights a week.

None of this happens without you. Thank you to every single person who believed in us, supported us, showed up, danced, and helped build this community. We’d love to thank everyone individually, but the list would truly be endless.

A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts—this is just the beginning. 💛

🎉✨ I’m pretty sure I came up with the best song swap of the season! 🎶💃

Try This:
Half Past Tipsy, danced to “Like It’s Christmas” by the Jonas Brothers! 🎄🎅

Feels like all the classic moves of Half Past Tipsy mixed with the festive Jonas Brothers music. You have to try it - it’s the ultimate holiday mash-up that’ll get everyone dancing! 🕺🎉

happy holidays & happy new year! 🌟✨
