We are sad to announce that Wallace is leaving Koyal. He is switching careers and we know he’s going to do amazing things in the world!

Wallace founded the band with us in 2019, and our first gig together was at a Panda Express in our student center. The workers stopped service momentarily to come see us play. At the end of the spring semester, Wallace made us promise that we wouldn’t disband, and would push to see how far we could go in the fall. Over the next 7 years, we went on to play stages that we had never dreamed of, including 4 music festivals, 2 cross country tours with sold out shows in Atlanta, Philly, & SF, while amassing over 400k streams.

The three of us are so proud of having poured 100% of our authentic selves into every piece of this band and getting to where are now together. Wallace will always have a piece of our heart. He has a pun for every situation, penned several Koyal hits including “hiatus” and “bummer song”, and is a drummer extraordinaire.
He is a gift to this world. Thanks for bringing Koyal this far <3

Koyal will continue on as a duo, and Noah & I cannot wait to share what’s in store for this next chapter!

We are releasing “do you still care for me?” on 9/22 which Wallace spearheaded. It was recorded and produced in our own studio in Burbank, and mixed by a grammy winning engineer, you don’t want to miss hearing this song!! Presave in bio.

Unbelievably excited to share what I’ve been working on since the moment I moved to LA - Key Tone Studios. A boutique studio with everything you need to create an inspired record. @key.tone.studios is a space I have dreamt of since I started making beats in middle school and I am so lucky to make music in community with phenomenal friends and musicians. Instruments sing in here, the rooms smell of wood, and the warmth of creativity hugs everything in sight.

Key Tone is complete with vintage analog preamps, legendary microphones, exceptional monitoring, two floated rooms with beautiful acoustic treatment, and other best in class equipment. The space serves as a haven for creating, with every piece of gear always plugged in and ready to track.

Join us June 6, 4:00-7:00pm for the studio warming party!! Come experience the space for yourself! link in bio
