2024 Chicago Marathon Starting Line Up 🔥

As the Chicago Marathon draws near, I want to highlight and shout out the CBM athletes who will be lining up on Sunday! These athletes have ran hundreds of miles these past few months, all working towards the goal of finishing a first marathon, PRing from their last, and running an iconic race. I encourage you to read why they decided to commit to Chicago and please help me wish these amazing humans the best in their journey to the finish line

1. CeCe: Our resident Chicago runner and first-time marathoner carrying on her dad's legacy.

2. Jeff: Finishing what his dad started and setting his sights on new heights.

3. Steph: Bringing the trail runner mindset to roads and soaking in the joy.

4. Peter: Back and better for his second marathon & ready to unlock what's next.

4. Tamara: Evolving in every way during her running journey & ready to crush her first marathon!

Did I cry making these posts? Absolutely 😭
This is what running is about & being their coach was the stuff dreams are made of.

LFG CHICAGO ✨️

FEARLESS: the courage of getting back up and fighting for what you believe in over and over again. The grit to keep pushing you forward as you stare down your fears.

Hi there! @mireille.sine here. I’m a runner and public health professional from Los Angeles.

Between training, work, and personal projects, my life can seem rather hectic. What I like the most about Hume is that it keeps me feeling fresh all day long. The amber woods scent is the perfect scent for fall. It’s woodsy with the right balance of fragrance. I use the amber woods body oil when I need a pick me up from the scent and whenever I want to feel extra luxurious. I love that Hume is plant and probiotic based so I can feel good about what I’m putting on my body (because the skin eats, too!). When I put it on in the morning, I know that I’ll be at my best the rest of the day.

A wonderful event sponsored by @hoka with @sikahenry as guest speaker. A night filled with female melanin inspiration, from the refreshments @shecanwines to @scentthetone candles, to @djdimepiece on the ones and twos. My moment with Ms. Sika Henry went as follows: me commenting on not doing a 17 mile run jokingly, and her responding with, anything is possible. Wow. Inspirational and encouraging while taking photos. Who wouldn't follow her ground breaking triathlon and fitness journey. If I forgot anyone, sorry.
