From nothing, to something. Never give up on your dreams and goals. 🌱

Notes from Sarah: I don’t think we share our story enough or talk about how we got here. Looking back, it’s actually pretty amazing.

In 2020/2021, I watched the documentary The Biggest Little Farm by The Biggest Little Farm. It instantly made me dream about owning a farm someday. I started envisioning what I would grow if I had a farm. Sounds silly now, but I truly felt it. I would play out perfect scenarios in my head, spend hours watching YouTube videos, and even joke around saying, “Rich Sarah has a farm.” Back then, I thought you had to be rich to make something like this happen. Spoiler alert: we definitely weren’t rich.

Then in 2022, we found partners who believed in the vision too. Something pushed me to ask our partners’ family to be part of it, even though we were really just acquaintances at the time. Looking back now, I truly think God had a plan all along.

We borrowed property for the 2022 season, and by 2023, I was driving around for hours searching for abandoned properties, taking notes, and contacting owners. Before we knew it, we found what became our forever property, and we never looked back after May 2023.

It took one family believing in us to completely change our lives — and maybe even impact multiple families along the way.

Coming from a sales background, I became comfortable asking for exactly what I wanted and needed. After hearing “no” so many times while selling financial planning, hearing “YES” to this dream was one of the best feelings ever.

If you know you can do it, go for it. Don’t listen to the outside noise. Stop worrying so much about how and start talking to the right people. Like Wes would say “don’t talk about it, be about it”.

We’ve come a long way, and we’re so excited for this upcoming season and everything we have planned for our amazing community. Truly, you all are the reason we keep coming back every year. We can’t wait for everyone to see all the new things coming soon. 🤍
