I have always lived my life working harder, not smarter, and the same goes for my approach with Mak haha So what I don’t have any money to spend on expensive renovations??! When you have really talented, ride or die friends and the conviction, nothing can stop you. I will change this place one wall at a time, even if it kills me and I hope that I will make Koreatown proud in the process. #Koreatown #cafemak #smallbusiness

Jamaal: Love Coded streaming now on Here TV.

This was such a fun project to work on. It’s been a goal of mine to work on more sci-fi projects and getting to step into this world was really exciting.

Jamaal: Love Coded explores Artificial Intelligence, identity, and Black queer relationships, and I’m grateful to be part of a project telling stories like these.

You can stream it now on Here TV, or through the Here TV add-on on Prime Video, Hulu, and other participating providers.

And of course a huge thank you to my Detroit family @philaye_films for casting me on this project. 🙏🏽💫

I had the opportunity to go back to my school part-time for a couple months and it felt so damn good to be back. I got to plan some of my fav events w some of my fav ppl and help to create memorable experiences for my students and who knows…maybe I’m done and maybe I’ll be back. Lord knows. In January I said this was gonna be the year of yes and I am dead serious. Feeling grateful.
