taking over the field, one last time ❤️🤍💙

i want to give thanks to my fellow seniors, who have all been in this way longer than me, but never judged my newbie skills.

to jaylen, who always makes me laugh and calls me out, keeping me on my feet and making me work harder.

to nautica, who has always made me feel welcomed and started our locker routine before band, that makes my day.

to jesse, who helped me feel not alone as a new band senior, even tho he carries almost every piece as the the only marching trumpet.

to zackary, who has give me the guidance, for playing every piece when i don’t know how it’s supposed to sound, and helping me sound better.

to jenny, my other trombone, for being goofy with me every rehearsal and always taking trombone number one (the harder piece.)

to micah, my best friend for life, for lending me her slide oil and getting on me for playing the wrong notes.

and to a non-senior, tommy, for being my #1 supporter. thank you for pushing me to be in band and to play my hardest, even when i didn’t pick the saxophone.

and of course, to mr. corbeille, for encouraging me to give marching band a try and not letting me slack off.

i will never forget this experience, marching under those lights, and performing with the best people.
