Long Live Axel. My good friend, business partner, collaborator, and my lil brother. He, his music and his impact will resonate forever.

Axel was in LA for the right reasons. He cared about music. He cared about people. He cared about doing the right thing.

20 years old - not even 6 months living in LA - and he was already working with Grammy winners, meeting his favorite artists, popping out in music videos, and building with some of the dopest up and coming out the underground. He knew, respectfully - he was that guy. I’m grateful he got to appreciate his success. And grateful I got to witness him receive his flowers in person several times.

He was always ready to listen and learn. Reminded me of the passion and curiosity that I had for music when i started. He supported me and held me accountable. He always was there to vent or bounce ideas off of or debate something for way too long. He was a blessing to so many people, and many didn’t even have to know him very long.

The studio will never be the same but we’ll continue to build the vision we shared. My heart is broken but I won’t let it stop me from doing all we talked about.

I was almost ready to give up last month but Axel encouraged me to keep going. And now I’m gonna have to do this shit for the both of us. I’ve been off my phone the last couple weeks but now it’s time to get back to work.

Imma make you proud bro. Your voice will echo in my mind and your energy will inspire forever. Your music changed and will continue to change the world, for the better.

I graduated from CSUN as a CIT major with a minor in Geography

Over my time at CSUN, I have run into some fantastic people both on campus and off. Some of these people I now get to call my friends. Thank you for all the support over the years and to many many more adventures and years of being friends.

Since this will be my last Vanitas post for a while let me just say how extremely happy I am to finally be able to do this cosplay. I’ve been reading the manga ever since it came out and it’s been one of my favorites for so long and to see a manga that I thought no one new about finally get animated was so magical to see. Going from not having a single person to talk to about the show for years to suddenly going to a con cosplaying as Vanitas, having people recognize the character and talking to them about how much they love the show just as much as I do, I really can’t explain the pure joy I felt in those moments and continue to feel as I look back at all these pictures. Vanitas was a dream cosplay for little 15 year old me so it’s safe to say that if younger me could see me now she’d be going crazy. Thank you again to everyone who made the little kid inside me happier than ever and thank you to everyone who wrote their true names in my book🥰💙💙💙💙

My first theatre banquet was so amazing! I’m extremely honored that I received best first performance, I couldn’t have done it without so many incredible people. I can’t wait for the years to come!
