POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

For every reservation through the government’s recreation booking website, a corporation named Booz Allen Hamilton collects a service fee that, across thousands of sites and users, adds up to millions of dollars. All the way back in Issue 2, journalist Amelia Arvesen (@hi_amelia) investigated the giant government contractor to discover who is really pulling the strings behind our most coveted permits. Now, you can read the story in our Print Archive (link in bio).

Test knitters’ versions of the Vřes Cardigan 🧶 I want to give a big shout out to my test knitters for this pattern as I love all the versions so much! Thank you again so much for your help 🤗
The pattern is on sale until this Friday, May 9.
1. @handmadeby_ninni - beautiful version in @novitaknits 7 Veljesta Solids yarn.
2. Blue cardigan by mila27 on Ravelry. She used yarn by Rico Design Creative Soft Wool Aran and didn’t add any buttons, and I think it came out great!
3. Tweed cardigan by @heyjitterbug_ - Latasha kept a vlog of her project on TikTok and it was so fun to watch! Highly recommended ♥️ She used the @redheartyarns Super Saver Fleck.
4. @knittingwitchy used @hobbylobby I Love This Wool Naturals and I just love the stitch definition and drape on this one.

A little bit of Nicaragua on film 🎞️

These photos and moments bring me a lot of happiness. As my desire to post on here has dwindled, so have the number of likes on my posts, but I no longer post for the likes. I post because I enjoy sharing moments like these. I post because I like having a place to share the thousands of photos I take and look back on.

Nicaragua Part Dos
-
As much as I am a mountain person, I am equally an ocean/water person. I crave swimming in every body of water, laying out in the sun, feeling warm and toasty like a lil rotisserie chicken, and being in the ocean, covered in salt and sand. Nica is a very special place, and I’m just thankful I got to spend a week here getting my ocean fix

Nicaragua Part 1

Spent the week in Nicaragua with a group of rad babes, shooting for Title Nine. I love all of the places this job has taken me, and am forever thankful to call this “work”. After this winter, a week in this beautiful country, in the sun, was a treat ✨

Thank you all so much for sharing in my excitement for fall… or putting up with it. 😂 It’s my favorite season and I’m pumped to plan some fun adventure sessions. I know planning takes time and these sessions are an investment, so that’s why I’ve started talking about it so early. I’m about to head out of town for one last summer hurrah, so I’ll take a little break from blabbing about fall. When I get back August 21st, it will be go time to schedule your sessions! I can’t wait. 🍂
