How cool is it that my best friends also love Bruno Mars and also love celebrating my birthday with me 10 months later! The best 24 hour trip ever!! I don’t get a ton of time without littles to do adult things so extra grateful when I do and love spending it with my best friends. I’m beyond thankful for these 3. The relationship we all have is unmatched! 🤍

Today we moved. Holli and the little, not the Uncles!
. In 108 fucking degree heat, after one of the most stressful two weeks ever.

The last 18 months in San Diego have been beautiful, terrifying, messy, healing and fucking hard. I’ve questioned myself more times than I can count. I’ve wanted to give up and run back to what was familiar.

But we stayed.

And the biggest reason we could was my brothers.

For 18 months, the uncles gave us a safe, stable, FUN home while I figured out how to build one of our own. They let a whole lot of estrogen invade their space, routines, sanity and definitely their power bill.

They taught my girls everything from plants and air filters to boundaries, how to make a manhattan, being good neighbors, showing up for people and the importance of eating dinner together.

And they taught me something even harder: how to accept help.

I don’t say this lightly my brothers saved me. They gave me enough stability to stay when running back to Idaho felt easier.

Today we left their home and moved into ours.

My heart has been in San Diego from the beginning.

Now my roots are too.

There is no version of this story where we get here without you two.

You didn’t just help us move to San Diego.

You helped us stay.

And I’ll spend the rest of my fucking life grateful for that. 🤍

Mark is quite simply one of the best additions to this crazy, unconventional family we’ve created.

He is loyal. Generous. Considerate. The kind of person who notices people and makes sure they feel welcome, included, and cared for. He is the host everyone wishes they had at a party because he genuinely thinks about what will make other people happy and comfortable. That care for people isn’t something Mark turns on when it’s convenient. It’s simply who he is.

He is funny and lighthearted, but underneath that is one of the hardest working people I know. Watching his business flourish has made perfect sense because Mark understands something that matters deeply to me: people are valuable. Relationships matter. How you treat people matters. And Mark lives that every single day.

He is also the uncle every kid deserves. Does he always love the noise and chaos that comes with all of them? Absolutely not. 😂 But there is never a question about whether he will show up. He loves them fiercely, supports them completely, and makes sure the people he loves know they matter.

Mark is my friend and my brother. He is someone I can sit in a car with and have the deep, serious conversations about life that I treasure. And somehow, he is also the same person who will jump in the pool, commit fully to something ridiculous, or show up with an unnecessarily large cardboard cutout because apparently that is what the moment requires.

He’s just that guy.

The one you want at the table. The one you call when it matters. The one who makes life more fun simply by being part of it.

I love you so much, Mark. I hope you know how deeply valued you are and how much better this whole crazy family is because you’re in it.

Long Weekend Round Up 🖤🤍

We spent the weekend in San Diego celebrating the fabulous 40th birthday of @young_tuck85 in full glam chic and a sun soaked pool party too! A Tuckertson party is definitely one you will never forget 🤌🏽✨🥂

We also celebrated the iconic 13th birthday of our BFF’s son, Lennon! As his mom @lib_rsp would say, we certainly filled our come with so much love this weekend 🥰🥰🥰
