Lessons I have learned in 36 years of life.

1. We all need love.
2. Cherish your friends who have become family.
3. Gratitude goes a long way.
4. Life is not obligated to give us everything we expect, but everything we need is here for the taking.

I celebrated my 36th birthday hosting my closest male friends simply to tell them thank you for loving me even when I struggled to love myself. Also, I wanted to open my Julia Child cookbook and stunt on these hoes. I’ve learned and am still learning to let go of the pain in the past. Let’s be real, we all have it.

If there is anything I would change about the past is to love myself more and appreciate the talents and gifts I was given. Every day is a new day and every new day is a blessing. I’m committing to giving myself grace and loving me every day of my life❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
