From the very beginning, God understood that humanity would falter and stray from Him. In His infinite wisdom and love, He purposefully devised a plan to restore our broken relationship. This divine intention manifests in the work of Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, “God with us."

⚡️At Freedomhouse, we are deeply committed to nurturing strong disciples of Jesus Christ who actively engage in ministry and share God’s love in every aspect of their lives. It’s a widespread misconception that the pastor is responsible for all ministry work. In reality, as believers, we are called to serve as ministers of the Gospel. Ephesians 4:11-12 states, “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”

✨Every Christian plays a vital role in ministry, and our recent Fall Festival truly reflected that! Thanks to our committed church members, this outreach was a blast. We’re already looking forward to making next year’s festival even better!

✅If you’re in the Santa Cruz area and eager to explore more about the believer’s ministry and how you can positively impact your community, we invite you to join us every Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. Together, we can make a difference!

✨Here’s a quick recap of the past weekend! On Friday and Saturday, we hosted the amazing Women’s Flourish Conference. Pastor Wendy and Guest Minister Susan Dunn delivered powerful messages that brought about transformation and breakthrough for many. The house was packed, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s conference.

🔥The excitement continued into Sunday Service with Guest Minister Pastor Derek Dunn. God wants us to grow and flourish in Him and commands us to be fruitful and multiply.

After Jesus' resurrection, He instructed the Apostles to wait for the gift the Father promised: the baptism of the Holy Spirit. In Acts, chapter 2, when the Day of Pentecost had fully come, those who waited were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave utterance. The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowered the believers to spread the good news and perform miraculous signs and wonders, including healing the sick, raising the dead, driving out demons, and setting captives free.

While most people are familiar with water baptism, it's important to note that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all who believe today. This is an incredibly generous gift from our Heavenly Father, and it's a testament to His reality, His presence, and His ongoing work in the world today.

This past Pentecost Sunday, we were privileged to witness lives being powerfully touched by the Holy Spirit. Hearts were moved, freedom was released, and refreshing experiences were had by many. It was truly an incredible demonstration of His power and goodness.

👉 Follow us if you want to dive deeper into the transformative power of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit!
