UMD homecoming 2025’🐢

walked back onto my college realized that it has been a decade (10 years) since the first time stepped foot on the campus

The year was 2015, and you could smell the morning dew on the grass while my parents unloaded the last cart into my first dorm… Easton Hall. It was my first time being away from home for months on end.

After unpacking I went to the diner, I went to the gym, and begin exploring before my first class on Monday.

I set the video game down & press start to living my own video game. If people only knew how wild and hectic those college dayz were. From the finessee, to the networking and connections, it was a journey.

Then boom. Failed calculus class & music class. Now know you wondering how do you fail music class. Dangit it’s a long story for another time

From pursuing mechanical engineering to information science and minoring in woman studies, the rollercoaster of 4 years was a experience

a experience that taught me things that no class would ever teach me

That is your “Network is Key 🔑” like it could literally determine you passing a class or not based off of knowing the smart kids who would help you with the homework assignments or even better, the exams…. Just playin just playin🤓

Your network translate to the real world of what job you end up working, what circles you find yourself in, and what knowledge you obtain throughout life

In the the real world the most prestige individuals are not the smartest but rather those who know how to ‘delegate’ and use the network they have to build the communication, sales, and value to the community & world around them

Before we end up down a deep rabbit hole it was good seeing everyone and I’ve noticed that as each year goes by there is less and less noticed faces at homecoming… maybe we are to far gone… our time is up and came to a end. fear that one day gonna go to homecoming and there won’t be a single face to recognize

So long farewell University of Maryland🐢 until we meet again
