One of the best beef burgers I’ve ever had, trust me on this one😍. Shakedown is known for their chicken and beef burgers and they also do a range of shakes and waffles. Shown here is the ‘quad beefed up’ burger which is an actual beast of a burger👀, the beef patties were juicccyyyyy and actually tasted so good🤤. I got the ‘terry white’ shake with my meal, which includes Terry’s chocolate orange, white kinder bueno and chocolate sauce, I could only taste the Terry’s in this and not the kinder bueno, but it was gooood😋. If you’re a terry’s chocolate orange fan you will love this! I got this as a combo meal with the curly fries (deffo recommend) and ‘dress me’ sauce which is one of my fave sauces. The meals are a bit on the pricier side but worth it in my opinion🙌🏼🙌🏼, this particular one is £15.50. The place itself is on the small side and not enough seating for how busy it gets, but that’s the only downside! I swear Wednesdays are the dullest day of the week. Well into the working week yet the weekend seems so far away! I cured this mid week boredom with an AWESOME burger courtesy of Hey Shakedown

This Withington takeaway has been making my mouth water for weeks with some of the most solid burger content you can find (you should all definitely follow) and I had to see what it was all about.

You see many burger restaurants trying to reinvent the wheel with their incredible burger creations (most of which I have no problems with whatsoever) but sometimes all you want is just a classic burger and this is what I loved about Hey Shakedown.

I went for the Beefed Up burger. Two smashed patties, American Cheese, Relish and caramelised onions. What an absolute treat.

Like I said about the Jerk Shack Chicken burger when you have less ingredients they each get to stand out more! The beef was so juicy and actually really salty. The cook on it was just right with little bits of char on the outside with a perfect pink on the inside. The relish and caramelised onions combined with all this flavour PERFECTLY. Sometimes, burgers really don't have to be that complicated to be amazing and this definitely was the case.

Shoutout has to go to the range of sauces that Hey Shakedown offers. The "Dress Me" sauce was the ultimate burger sauce, making dunking my burger into it a no brainer. The Honey Mustard sauce was perfect for the curly fries (which I loved) and the spare sauce will be going straight on my sausage sandwich tomorrow!

Rounding this joyous experience off was my Oreo Teaser milkshake. If you love thick shakes with crunchy bites of chocolate then you have to get one!!

I know this lockdown isn't easy for anyone but if you're looking to eat your way through it then get Hey Shakedown straight to your door!

You guys are not ready because this is absolute burger goals right here💯 My go to for a juicy, cheesy beef burger is Shakedown🍔. The Beefed Up! has two beef patties, relish, caramelised onions, tomatoes, lettuce and melted American cheese.⁣

First of all, I don’t need to even describe just how juicy this burger is because the pictures say it all tbh👅. I don’t know how they do it but the beef patties are unbelievably juicy yet the meat is cooked perfectly all the way through! I don’t usually take a shot of a half eaten burger but I just wanted you all to appreciate how juicy this burger is when you combine all these tasty ingredients together! Plus the burger is ooozing with cheesy goodness which is always a winner with me!🤤

For an unreal burger you won’t regret, you know where to go and what to order!💯👏🏽

🍔 We ordered the popular ‘Beefed Up’ burger with two beef patties covered in melted American cheese, relish and caramelised onions with a side of their skin-on fries

🥤 The ‘Cookie Butter’ Shake with Biscoff biscuits and caramel syrup and a regular vanilla shake

For your Belgian Waffle cravings, look no further because @heyshakedown have got you covered! I ordered the Half Moon waffle. One half of the waffle is drizzled in rich, tasty Nutella and topped with a handful of Milky Bar pieces and the other half is drizzled with creamy, divine melted white chocolate and topped with an abundance of crushed flake. ⁣

It’s hard to pick a favourite half when each them were generously smothered in Nutella and melted white chocolate and then completely loaded with my favourite toppings. It was so rich, chocolatey and perfectly indulgent😍

For those like me who are huge chocolate lovers with a sweet tooth, you will LOVE this waffle. It is the perfect sweet treat and will 100% satisfy your cravings.

This was Two Beef Patties, Melted Cheese and their ‘Dress Me’ Sauce.
One of the things we loved about this burger was how you could taste the quality of the meat - very soft and juicy! 🥩

We really enjoyed this visit & can’t wait to go again and try a dessert! 🍰
