Hairstyle of the day: Double mini beaded braids on each side
.
.
I watched a tutorial by Paisley Petal’s Hair to insert the beads, but I used a beader tool! This hairstyle is very popular all over Pinterest and Tik Tok, so I was definitely motivated to try to incorporate more beads into my hairstyles!
.
.
Fun Fact: I remember when I was a kid, my mom would occasionally put beads in my hair during some summers. It was so much fun to add these colorful accessories into my hair! So every time I put beads into my hair, I always get a sense of nostalgia ❤️
.
.
Pro Tip: When inserting beads into your hair, use a SMALL section of hair and of course this depends on the size of beads you’re using and hair type. Always add some kind of frizz control product before inserting the beads, like an oil, styling cream, leave in conditioner, mousse, pomade, gel, wax, etc. You can also wet the strand down if you need to.

Hairstyle of the day: Mini braids with butterfly clips, inspired by @_morganmaynor_
.
.
Yesterday, I had a self care day. I washed my hair and used the @dove bond strength hair mask. I have been wanting to try this mask for a while and I absolutely love it!
Prior to washing, I applied a ton of Ashwin kalonji (black seed) oil all over my hair and left it in for a few hours.
