I was supposed to be out there running my second marathon today, but injury had other plans. Still, I’m beyond grateful I was able to show up and support my friends in the running community and every runner out there chasing that finish line.
Being at mile 23–24 hit different because I KNOW that feeling. Sometimes that energy, that cheer, or that little extra push is exactly what you need to keep going. I’m thankful I could give some of that back today..along with some Gatorade, water, and pickle juice 💪🏾

Congrats to EVERYBODY who conquered Chicago today. LET'S GOOOOO 🏁🏁🏁

Honestly was thinking why am I running off a couple hours of sleep…

If you aren’t smiling you’re not doing it right.
My running side quests are getting out of hand.

Had a blast running this course even though I almost slide off a few bridges.

Can’t thank the home team enough for the overwhelming support.

Runcations really go up!

We really them!

4th place isn’t too bad. Those other guys were flying lol with ease too!

I’m soooo excited to announce that I’ll be running in the New York City Chicago Marathon this fall! This will be my very first time running a Marathon outside of Chicago. I’ll be raising $$ for @peace_runners773 , anyone who knows me knows this group/family has truly transformed my life. I have the opportunity as a Charity runner to raise funds so Peacerunners can continue to provide no cost training and services on Chicago’s Westside for holistic health and wellness! Please click the link in my Bio and support me and @peace_runners773 as we prepare for the New York City Marathon on November 1st. Let’s get it!!

🏅 Medal Monday 🏅

Year 4 of the @chidistanceseries 13.1 Half Marathon ✅! This one was extra special because I chose to fundraise for the home team @peace_runners773 ✌🏾☮️ and pay it forward to the people who welcomed me into this running space and helped change my life.

Raised over $2,500, and I am beyond grateful to all 86 donors who made this possible. Thank you to everyone who donated, liked, shared, and supported the journey every step of the way.

A special thank you to @seligashoes for your continued love and support.

This marks Lifetime Half Marathon 17 and the mission remains the same. Keep stacking miles, keep showing up, and keep pouring into our communities despite whatever life throws our way.

Do it for Mama 🌹

53,051 steps to the finish line for a time of 5:15:57 at @illinoismarathon but the real work was put in over 18 weeks of training.

So proud of myself for showing up and getting it done even with a few obstacles these last few weeks. And more than anything, showing my kids that if you don’t succeed the first time, you can ALWAYS try again.

NEVER GIVE UP on your goal.

This race will forever be the most memorable run of my life. I did that.

Huge thank you to my family for always supporting me, and to every friend who reached out, sent messages, and voice notes…you truly helped me get through this race with the best mindset I could’ve had. ❤️

After a 5-week taper 🥴 I’m ready to get back to my normal routine…

And I said I’d never do a marathon again after this, but… I might’ve lied 😂

I’M OFFICIALLY A MARATHONER!!!! 26.2 MILES!!!!

Medal Monday 🏅🌍

Did the unthinkable… and forever grateful. Two @super_halfs in TWO days, TWO countries 🇨🇿➡️🇩🇪

Saturday: Prague Half 🇨🇿Sunday: Berlin Half 🇩🇪

Post Prague we had a delayed 5-hour train ride back to Berlin, only 4 hours of sleep, and still showed up to the start line ready to go to war. This one was all heart, grit, and purpose.

S/O to family @heyyyy.p for crushing a PR in Prague 🏃🏾‍♀️💨 💪🏾🔥

Race 1 Prague: @prghalf @runczech race kit: @seligashoes — shop your run gear at seligashoes.com

Race 2 @berlinerhalbmarathon @scc_events race kit: @peace_runners773 ☮️✌🏾— always repping the home team & family 💜

This trip was much needed. Grateful for the journey and community! Next race loading…@gostlouis 🥹
