Calvin ‘31

I am beyond honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Calvin University!

First and foremost, I want to thank my entire family, for the countless sacrifices you have made for me in order to achieve my dream. Thank you to my parents for all of their support throughout this entire process, and always supporting me. I want to thank God, for blessing me with this opportunity to continue my faith while pursuing a degree and playing lacrosse. I want to thank all of my coaches, especially my position coaches Scotty Rodgers, Jack Davis, and my dad. I also want to thank everyone else who helped support me throughout this entire process. You are the people who made this possible, and without this help I don’t know where I would be.

I want to thank all of my teammates for motivating me to be the best I can be, and pushing me everyday in practice. Your guy’s support was incredible, and drove me to excel in hard times.

Thank you to Traverse City Lacrosse, supplying me with multiple opportunities to grow both as an athlete, and as a person. Every single summer tournament, game, and practice is greatly appreciated, as your time given to the program is valuable and greatly appreciated.

To Long Island Sting Lacrosse,
Thank you so much for giving me the incredible opportunity to play with such a great group of men. Even is such a short time we had, I appreciate it all and wish we had more time together.

Go Knights!

This year, I really didn’t know what was coming or if I’d even be here. I had my doubts. But with my awesome family and the realest of friends, I managed to get through and surprise myself and others along the way. Truly I would be underplaying a situation if I said I did it all myself. I couldn’t have done it without my friends. #Braintumor0Bode1
