JANE GRANBERRY IS MISS MISSISSIPPI! 🤩

On June 13 in Vicksburg, Jane Granberry was crowned Miss Mississippi 2026 and won over $25,000 in scholarships. Granberry is among 52 delegates scheduled to compete for the title of Miss America 2027 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“Becoming Miss Mississippi has been a dream come true!” Granberry said. “Not only did this opportunity allow me to earn my bachelor’s and master’s degrees debt-free, but it also helped me discover who I am. Miss Mississippi gave me the space to grow into exactly who I was meant to be, and I’m honored to spend the next year showing girls that this can be their story, too!”

Granberry is a native of Hattiesburg, an SMBHC student and a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications and is pursuing her Master of Business Administration. Her community service initiative, Literacy Without Limits, is dedicated to ensuring that every Mississippian has the opportunity to become a confident reader, critical thinker and lifelong learner. Granberry hopes to become a strategic marketing consultant and business owner.

🤓Fun fact: Granberry’s brother and sister are SMBHC alumni, too! Hermine Granberry graduated in 2023, and Senton Granberry graduated in May.
