Today is the day I start my new season at dance. Over the past 3 weeks I have experienced so much as a dancer. Not just all my accomplishments but also the mental part of dance. I am always very humble and if at first I don’t succeed I figure out a way to make it happen or at least get closer to my goal. My eyes and my sister’s eyes were opened to how people treat others even on the dance floor by actions and words this summer. There were many tears shed and times that my sister and I just wanted to step back and take a break thinking it would solve everything. I have learned a lot about myself and staying true. My parents and sister have helped guide me in situations and helped make me stronger. I said a prayer last night asking for this year to be filled with Love, True Friendships, Genuine Guidance, To Be Heard and Growth towards meeting my 3 goals!! I thanked God for giving me my talent and for my parents who work non-stop to provide for my sisters and brothers with the things we need.
My sister and I also prayed for our dance teachers @hgrace21 , @hunter_paige7 @olivia___snider , @jadentdavis, @stacyd1970 they have showed me love and I pray for them to remain strong. Their talent is endless and I can’t wait to put their visions to life

As our time @thedanceawards comes to an end this will be a week to remember. We are so very proud of @lucy3.261 and @lily_lovesdancing . We experienced all types of emotions from excitement, nervous, scared, worried, upset, blessed and grateful. In the end our girls not only grew as dancers but as young ladies, teammates and friends with the common theme with a love for dance🩷. These are just a couple of pics from the girls solo.
One thing is for sure I will never forget each of my girls faces when they walked off that stage. They both said it was a feeling that was hard to describe but so humble they were able to show their talent and love for dance with others.

Still can’t believe it’s over!

Competitive dance has been a huge part of my life for the past 9 years, and I am forever grateful for that. I cherish every memory, both on and off the stage, and am so thankful for the way it has impacted my life and shaped me into who I am today. Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this journey!

15 years later… not enough words to describe the impact @dancedesignsdancecomplex has had on me.Thank you for shaping me into the woman I am today and being my home away from home. I’ll forever cherish the memories made and the lessons learned 💝

12 years of dance and it has officially come to an end…I never thought the time would come as fast as it did. As many hardships and challenges that I’ve endured throughout the years, nothing will compare to the lifelong friendships, memories, and experiences I’ll have to forever cherish. After many years this place became a second home to me…giving me friendships that will last a lifetime. From the first day I walked into the studio to now, this place has shaped me into the very person I am today and for that I am forever grateful! I couldn’t imagine a life without dance in it, but it just so happens that it has begun. They say the people make the place but this studio has truly shown me that, making this one of the hardest goodbyes I’ve had to make🥹 I still can’t believe that I won’t ever be practicing in this studio ever again…but at least I have many moments to look back at happily! Thank you dddc for everything you have done for me, love you all💗 @dancedesignsdancecomplex
