The process // @hgskate X Nosco

Went back to my roots with this collab when I decided I wanted to do a run of Nosco branded skateboards.
Going back 11 years since I worked with Jesse at Homegrown making a run of boards, it was a no brainer to reach out see if he wanted to work with me on this project.
Being the only one in the maritimes to still be fully manufacturing skateboards I couldn’t have asked for a better partner for this collab.
These decks are fully pressed and shaped in Lahave, Nova Scotia at Homegrown skateboards and then painted at the NOSCO HQ with the same process as a paint series fingerboard.
Support local and don’t forget about the ones doing the work in your area.
Just want to give Jesse a huge congratulations on 30 years of Homegrown skateboards, if you’re ever in the area be sure to check out this gem of a spot.
*These skateboards are available for local pickup and at the @6skates Toronto Rendezvous event.

Family vacation somehow turned into a fingerboard trip… funny how that works. Stopped by @902fb for a little sesh and couldn’t leave empty-handed. Picked up this unreal @noscodecks deck. And made our way to @hgskate for a little visit .

I love this graphic so much I bought it even though it’s not my usual size. No regrets.

Got a quick skate in at @hgskate . It’s upstairs at the LaHave Bakery. @lahavebakery Love this place, and we always try to visit every time we’re in Nova Scotia. Thanks Jesse!

All skateboards go to heaven. Current art installation here at Toppers Hair Salon and Down Home Barbershop. Thanks to everyone so far for the decks keep them coming 😎🤘🏻. Once we have worked our way further up the tree we can start hanging decks from the branches 🙃🛹. Inspiration for this project comes from an old graphic for Home grown skateboards @hgskate .

I DON'T POST THIS LIGHTLY ❤️🛹 If you've ever been to Lunenburg County Nova Scotia then you already know about the incredible wealth of wonderfully talented artists, artisans and craftspeople to be found here. So many in fact that I could never pick one favourite. My son Clyde, on the other hand, will gladly declare his TOP PICK ➡️ HOMEGROWN SKATEBOARDS @hgskate‼️ And let's be clear after all the skateboarding that kid has done - from all the cool parks here on the South Shore to the bounty of bowls in my homeland of England - it's fair to say he knows his way around on the wheels. I can't tell you how much he wanted a board from #Homegrown but he spent all his savings on it and he's never been happier! So proud of him and so very grateful to Jesse Watson for his wonderful work.

Next time you're in LaHave be sure to pop into HOMEGROWN SKATEBOARDS for yourself 😎🛹 they're located just above the @lahavebakery so you can grab something yummy while you're at it! 🍪🍕🥖

THERE'S SO MUCH TO LOVE IN LUNENBURG COUNTY! ❤️🌊
