🌭 HOWDY WEEK HOT DOG EATING CONTEST RECAP 🌭

What. A. Night. 🤠🔥

We had an absolute showdown at The Backyard for our FIRST EVER Hot Dog Eating Contest of Howdy Week — and it came down to a DEAD EVEN TIE 🥵

So what did we do? We split the $500 prize right down the middle between our two champions 🏆💰

Huge shoutout to everyone who stepped up to the table and competed — y’all brought the heat (and the appetite) 🌭💪

And an even bigger THANK YOU to everyone who came out to cheer, laugh, and support — you made this first annual contest an absolute success 🙌🤍

It’s hard to put into words what Chimy’s has meant to me. What started as a job quickly became a second home and a family. Some of my favorite memories, biggest laughs, and lifelong friendships came from behind that bar.

This chapter didn’t end the way I imagined, and I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye the way I hoped. That part will always be bittersweet.

But no matter how bad the ending, nothing can take away the positive parts of what my time at Chimy’s gave me. I’m so grateful for every coworker, customer, friend, and memory that made Chimy’s such a special place in my life.

Thank you for everything. Here’s to new beginnings and trusting that what’s ahead is even better. Godspeed.

Got a video in the parent group text of Haley driving a boat on Lake Como.

The good news: I only saw it after they were already back safe.

The questionable news: she told them she had experience. The “experience” was “driving” with her dad approximately fifteen years ago.

My girl is living her best life and always keeping me on my toes. Bless😅
