So good to be back hitting the road at the iconic 34th @yakultph 10Miler!
Congrats to Team @hyvesportsph @justinekayne @emjulius for putting on another great show. 👏
16KM is my absolute sweet spot distance—- not too long, not too short, just the right amount of suck to make this all worth it. 🏃‍♂️
As always, big props to @itsyourboymilo_dxb for leading us on an easy peasy zone 2 “chika pace.”
Thank you @hoka_philippines for the kicks! I really appreciate the springy bounce back action of the Mach X 3 on these mid length runs 🐇

Rexona 10-Miler Makati Leg - 16 KM Category

Went in aiming to beat my PB of 1:22 — initially, SUB 1:20. Came out with more than that.

Ayala’s never been my go-to course for PRs (because of Mt. Kalayaan) but today it gave me one anyway.

I’m heavier than I’ve raced in a while, mid-bulk and all. My weight definitely showed up, but same goes with all of the leg strength training i’ve been doing.

If anything, we’re getting faster.

Thank you @hoka_philippines @daniceabril @hi.emem for the race kit!

Breaking the one-week hiatus with the Clifton Pro trial with HOKA × UP Dreamers.

Honestly, this was exactly what I needed to restart the training block.

3 months out from HYROX Singapore. Sometimes, all it takes is a good run and a good community to get you moving again.

Back to the plan. Back to online coaching with my coach.
Let’s go. 🧱

Throwing it back to last year’s @midnightrunasia

A year later, I’m just grateful to still be here! and even more grateful that many of these guys are still with me on this journey.

Last year me and @pinoyfatloss together with @hannahdacanay , we broke the 2-hour mark. Tonight, we’re chasing something even bigger: 20 minutes faster.

See you all in less than 5 hours. Enjoy the night, and let’s make this one count. 🌙🏃‍♂️

BACK AFTER AWHILE! JOIN ME AS I DO A RAINY MORNING RUN IN THE HOKA SKYWARD X2 LAUNCH by @hoka_philippines! 🪽

Finally getting back to running after a sick-bout in the Ayala Car-Free sundays featuring the Hoka Skyward X2 launch!

Featuring one of the most cushioned shoes HOKA has made, it is truly excellent for recovery runs and zone 2 effort runs—perfect for someone like me recovering from a short sick hiatus!

Also featuring a carbon plate-made not for speed but for stability during the massive stack! Feels like a cruiser that effortlessly eats up miles.

When you’re looking for your next super-trainer, I highly recommend checking out your local HOKA store near you and grab a pair yourself! 🪽

Also had fun today with the 45 minute run! With @midnightrunasia around the corner, it’s time to put in the milages when we can!

Come visit us next at the Stride-Free-Saturdays in MOA Seaside for the next Hoka Run Club run!

Promising to get back in making more content—getting my lungs and legs back, and so is my content!
