Snippets from Sardegna // I’ve been deep in an editing hole from our trip last month, lots of Sardegna content loading, but for now, here are a few favorite moments from our time there…

Took a traditional cooking class, learning to make culurgiones and pardulas (an incredible experience, so much more to share from this!)

In the kitchen @domuantiga

Sailing around the island

Learned all about traditional textiles and weaving from a local woman (can’t wait to share more from this!)

Sheep 🐑 sound on for their bells!

Local cheese @sinnosformaggi

A stay at @domuantiga

The water at this beach was unreal

On our way to a dinner date for @hi.iamdave’s birthday

The cutest town

Will never be over this water color

One night in Roma // just enough time for an aperitivo at our spot, dinner and a (very necessary) gelato to cool off from the heat

Moments from March // and lots to reflect on…Last month we said goodbye to Venice and our little beach bungalow of 5+ years. Since then it’s been a month of living in Ojai, I entered a new decade (something I’m still not quite comfortable admitting out loud tbh), spent my birthday in one of my favorite places in the world, Big Sur, had a girls weekend in Sedona to celebrate one of my dearest friends, moved onto an exciting phase in a project I’ve been dreaming up for years + so much more, all while slowly continuing to unpack boxes (no we’re still nowhere near fully unpacked 🫠) in between the moments of chaos. Suffice it to say, it’s been a month, and a lot to unpack, both physically and mentally. Looking forward to (mostly) staying rooted in our new home (and enjoying more of that drive to and from town seen in the last slide) this coming month 🤍

1- bday dinner in Big Sur
2- our bungalow just after we had moved in and before we had done any work to it
3- so proud of this backyard makeover
4-from a favorite spot in Venice
5- a peek at our Ojai home
6- Bomba is absolutely thriving in the new (and much bigger) outdoor space
7-11 Big Sur
12- something in the works 👀
13-17 Sedona
18- cruising my favorite drive with my favorite person to and from our new home into to town at sunset

November harvest // and a few other favorite moments from last month (that I’m finally sharing 5 days into this month 🙃)

-lots of seasonal produce and floral arrangements
-a @brochuwalker outfit I loved
-one of the best meals I’ve had all year (that persimmon glazed chicken though 😮‍💨)
-making Nan’s creamed onions and mushrooms recipe for Thanksgiving
-a few of my tabletop essentials: linens, beeswax candles, Italian flatware and beautiful dishes (I just picked these up in Copenhagen)
-my “trick” for weeknight roast chicken (aka ask the butcher at Whole Foods to spatchcock or breakdown a whole chicken, then roast it on a sheet pan with lots of seasonal veg! It takes half the time and is just as warm and comforting and delicious!)
-getting in the Christmas spirit
-a day trip up to Montecito
-on the bar top: an old sign for California grapes that was from my great-grandfather’s general store that he had in the Berkshires after he came over from Italy and now is back in my house in California
-Thanksgiving dinner
-last but not least, Bomba cuddled up with his favorite toy

Its the last slide for me // bits + bobs, in no particular order, from the end of April

-my Easter mass outfit (wearing new + old favorite @sezane pieces)
-white lilacs (one of my absolute favorites flowers!)
-a quick trip to the desert to take our family that was visiting last week to JT park
-Easter morning pastries
-finally bought the cookbook from one of my favorite spots that we ate at when we were in London last fall
-a peek at Easter dinner in the desert…Dave and I cooked a Mediterranean feast with lamb, lots of roasted veg, couscous salad, pita and, of course, all the dips and sauces!
-dogs driving cars > self driving cars

A Sunday kind of love // you, me + homemade pasta in Italy 🍝 Fun fact- we started making pasta dough before we realized there wasn’t a rolling pin in the house we were staying at in Piemonte, so we may or may not have used a wine bottle and may or may not have ended up with slightly thicker than average ravioli 🫣(but that’s a different video for a different day!)

Bits + bobs // as of late-ish 🤎

•One of my favorite spots at RH Indianapolis…we went when we were home over the holidays and honestly, I wanted to move in. The entire property is stunning 😮‍💨

•Seeing my photos in print 😭🙏🏽 (from the Nov./Dec. issue of @elledecorationgermany)

•Date night ‘fit (tagged + linked on my @shopmy)

•Cozy fondue moments at home

•Made a single chocolate chip cookie and dare I say it may be the most perfect single choco chip cookie to ever be made…like ever??!

•Cooked one of our all time faves, my crispy chicken with jammy fennel, herby citrus and olive salsa verde (recipe is on my site and if you haven’t made it yet, well, you’re missing out), paired with a recent favorite wine from @drinkalsace

•Bone broth hot chocolate (I love using @paleovalley) with homemade collagen marshmallows

•New in the beauty routine- @we_evolvetogether + @rozhair

•Date nights with you 🫶🏽

•Pizza at our forever neighborhood fave (the guanciale and lamb sausage pizzas are our go-to’s but we switched it up this time with the blanco)

Back in 2021-22 I participated in a Post Grad program in Psychology / Cognitive Neuroscience at The University of California, Irvine. One of the best experiences of my life - never before had I learned so much, nor had I ever felt more grounded in my purpose until then.
My time living in Los Angeles was filllllled with ups and downs, but here’s a few of the beautiful moments and some of the best people.
