Happy New Year yall! Here are some favorite moments from the year.

At the top of 2025, I was moving out of what was easily one of the hardest years of my life. This was the year of the snake, & I indeed feel like I spent it shedding so much of what held me back from the things I was meant for.

This year was filled with finding purpose within myself. With lunch dates & nights out with the people I love most. With putting my heart into the most rewarding job I’ve ever had. With releasing the fears I had about putting myself out there to share my art & music. With rekindling friendships that were made on the dance floor way back when. With playing, sharing & experiencing amazing music with amazing people. With learning how to sit in uncertainty & still feel content. With learning how to love myself & my body for where I was instead of where I was going.

It was filled with laughter, tears, successes, failures, & everything in between.

After what feels like a lifetime of dreaming I feel like I finally started getting out of my own way for the first time. I started to believe in myself the same way those around me do.

The end of 2025 was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least, but such is life. Regardless of what the universe throws my way, I’m ready to run full steam ahead.

As tumultuous as things have been around the world, we still have so much to be grateful for, & grateful is just what I feel.

My son and I decided to hit the road on Christmas Eve to the Rio Grande Valley to give my Mom a Christmas surprise.
And it worked. Tears flowed.
Good times were had. Memories made.
The rule always is:

Dear Diary,

@seismicdanceevent 8.0 was everything and then some. I say it all the time, but feel like I don’t say it enough; I am so grateful to be a part of this team, this family.

I look back to year 2013 when I met @djandrewparsons and @thekellygray_ and can’t believe what my life has become by knowing them and believing in them and their mission.
People always say they love hearing the passion in my voice when I talk about @realmusicevents, @theconcourseproject, and Seismic, but that passion is nothing compared to what A and K have and share.
I know I’m not alone and that this is exactly how everyone on the DREAM TEAM feels.

To the DREAM TEAM(you know who you are), there isn’t a single person that I could imagine doing this without. I’ve been blessed beyond words that I have more than coworkers, I have a whole other family to laugh with, smile with, cry with, and celebrate all of our hard work with. 🫶🏻

To @emilydawnharris, the fiercest, smartest, and hardest working leader I’ve ever known. Thank you for continuing to trust and guide me. I don’t know what this life looks like without you and I don’t want to. @daniel.moses90 and @hi.jynx13 my partners in crime and box office super heroes. I love you both with all of my heart and no one would be able to convince me that we don’t have the best running box office in the world.
To every single box office member whether you are with us yearly or just for seismic, we couldn’t do it without you all. Thank you all for loving us as much as we love you.

And finally to Seismic 9.0, can’t wait to be back baby. 🪩🖤

To ♾️ & beyond,

Karli
