You know you’re committed to the fucking horse mask if you can handle it in the humidity that befell III Points 2026. Despite the heat, Horsegiirl galloped her way through an electric Sector 3 performance that would have felt right at home on the Mind Melt mainstage. “This isn’t a DJ set,” I overheard someone in the audience say as the equine princess mimed her way through “Seasalt & Teardrops” center stage, flanked by dancing, jumping and hugging backup dancers dressed as psychedelic snail-people. But she quickly assumed her position behind the booth for “eat, sleep, slay, 🔁,” and it was off to the (horse) races after that.

Downtown Jazz @thecornermiami

100 years of John Coltrane. One Hell of a Bar. One Hell of a Band🎷

A look back at October’s special edition of Downtown Jazz at @thecornermiami, celebrating the music and enduring legacy of Mr. John Coltrane with Felipe LaMoglia on saxophone, Cisco Dimas on trumpet, Jim Gasior on keys, Brian Tate on bass, and Lucas Apostoleris on drums.

Big shout out and thanks to the incredible players who make these nights what they are. To all you fine folks who support live music in Miami, @beamsuntory for the killer cocktails, and @hi__d for capturing it all in these lovely photos.

We’ll see you in November 🎶

Last night, the new wave band from Akron, Ohio, proved to the crowd at the Fillmore Miami Beach why we still need politically unapologetic, artfully staged shows.

If art is a weapon, Devo sure knows how to “Whip It.” The band returned to Miami for the first time since 1982, when it played at the Olympia Theater. A lot has happened since then, as one might expect, but Devo’s core message and ethos feel more relevant than ever.
